2. What Nootely Does
Nootely lets authorized users:
- Sign in with Google.
- View Gmail message metadata and selected message content.
- Create, save, and manage report templates.
- Select Gmail messages and templates.
- Generate AI-assisted reports using selected content.
- Save generated reports locally in the app.
Nootely is a productivity tool. Generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or require editing before use.
3. Google Account and Gmail Access
Nootely uses Google Sign-In and Gmail read-only access. By connecting your Google Account, you authorize Nootely to access Gmail data needed to provide the app's features.
Nootely does not send, edit, delete, archive, or modify your Gmail messages.
Your use of Google services is also governed by Google's applicable terms and policies. You can revoke Nootely's access through your Google Account settings.
4. AI-Generated Content
Nootely uses Gemini-backed report generation. When you generate a report, selected email content and template content may be sent to the configured AI generation service.
You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and editing generated reports before relying on them or sharing them. Nootely does not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, current, or appropriate for every use case.
Do not use Nootely to process information you are not authorized to access or submit to AI services.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Use Nootely for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
- Access Gmail messages, templates, or reports you are not authorized to use.
- Submit highly sensitive, regulated, or confidential information unless you are authorized to process it through Nootely.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or compromise the app or its integrations.
- Misrepresent AI-generated reports as verified facts without appropriate review.
- Use Nootely to violate Google, Gemini, Sentry, or other third-party service terms.
6. Local Data
Nootely may store templates, generated reports, preferences, and related metadata locally on your device. You are responsible for securing your device and managing access to locally stored app data.
Deleting the app or clearing app data may remove locally stored Nootely content.
7. Third-Party Services
Nootely depends on third-party services, including Google services, Gemini API, and telemetry providers such as Sentry.
These services are governed by their own terms and policies. Nootely is not responsible for third-party service outages, changes, errors, data handling, or availability.
8. Privacy
Your use of Nootely is also governed by the Nootely Privacy Policy:

9. Availability and Changes
Nootely may be changed, suspended, restricted, or discontinued at any time. Features may change as the app evolves.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Nootely after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
10. No Warranties
Nootely is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nootely and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, business, profits, goodwill, or productivity arising from your use of the app.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Nootely if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, create security risk, or are no longer authorized to use the app.
